Description
-
A solo journaling and sketching tabletop role playing game about gaining notoriety in the graffiti scene.
You are a graffiti artist with one aim: to get up
Use your imagination to take on the role of a graffiti artist using the streets as your canvas, to belong and gain gain notoriety in the graffiti scene.
This zine is a standalone TTRPG, where no DM/GM/storyteller is required.
You playing the game will be as much going through the mechanics as it is about writing the story of your character... with the added twist that you'll also be sketching graffiti in your journal.
In 36 pages, this zine packs the rules to play the game, how to setup the game, how to play the game and ways to connect with the graffiti scene, including the rules by which graffiti writers mostly abide with.
We hope that this zine will change the way you look at graffiti if you are not familiar with the scene. Also included is a glossary so that jargon doesn't mean looking up words on the internet.
The games starts with creating your own setting and NPCs with the table provided (or your own imagination). Then character let you pick a playbook (or create your own entirely).
The 46 Moves with their 2d10 mechanic, will bring twists and turns to your story.
The consequences of the Moves you make will influence your character health, money, time, supplies, as well as stress and heat tracks.
The really bad consequences is picked by the player to find what best suit the story, with tables to guide both the narrative and the mechanic of the consequence.
TL;DR: Notorious Style brings the world of graffiti and street art to your tabletop in a condensed but fully flavoursome way.
