Description
  • A Solo TTRPG about being visibly different and tied to high profile superhero or villain attending regular high school

FREAK in High School is a prompt based solo journalling tabletop role playing game about being a visibly inhuman child of a visibly inhuman superhero or villain.

Players use a standard deck of 52 playing cards, 1d10, 1d6, and 2d4 to draw and resolve prompts about being a visibly different teenager trying to navigate a mostly mundane High School existence.

This game was inspired by Sentinel by Meghan Cross, Firebreather by Phil Hester and Andy Kuhn, and the visibly different superheros and villains I was obsessed with growing up like Beast, Nightcrawler, Hellboy, The Thing, The Lizard, and more.
