A sci-fi game for one player
In this game, you take on the role of the first officer of a starship. As second-in-command to the captain, it's often your duty to smooth over difficult political relationships, entertain foreign emissaries for a night, and sit down in chairs in extremely cool ways. You face any challenge that comes your way with daring, panache and aplomb. You also have strong opinions on jazz.
And your name is something cool... like Rill Wiker. Or Bill Biker. You get the idea.
I wrote this very silly game for the Indie TTRPG Generator Game Jam, which uses this wonderful generator to come up with ideas for TTRPGs. I got lots of bangers, honestly, but this one really stuck with me.
As a big fan of Star Trek TNG and in particular the maneuver-master himself, this game just kinda happened. Is it good? IDK. It makes me laugh. I hope it makes you laugh too.
It's a solo journaling game in which you must get through a season of a beloved sci-fi TV show as one of its main characters. Play just an arc, or a whole season, and find out what adventures await when you boldly go.
