A duo journaling game inspired by The Last Five Years
An Unabridged History of A Doomed Relationship is a two player journaling TTRPG, inspired by the musical The Last Five Years, using tarot based prompts and each other's entries to tell the story of a relationship that was doomed to fail from the very beginning.
No relationship is simple and neither is recounting them. As one of you tells the story of the relationship from when you first meet to the moment you split apart and inevitably break up, the other is writing from the reverse perspective, detailing the relationship from the moment the inevitable split, through the happiest of moments and to the moment you both meet.
An Unabridged History of A Doomed Relationship uses the Crafted in a Shell SRD which was inspired by Everyone Deserves Shelter, a game originally designed for the TTRPGs For Human Rights' Justice Jam 2022.
This game was made during the Crafted in a Shell SRD Game Jam alongside other amazing games and phenomenal designers. Other games made during this jam included Down To Our Skeletons Again and 99 Bottles.
