Description
-
In the dim corners where suffering festers and shadows whisper, there exists a cursed soul bound to the role of the Sin-Eater. You are that soul—haunted by a supernatural affliction that compels you to consume the sins and anguish of others. This grim curse draws you to places steeped in despair, forcing you to confront the moral abyss with each decision you make.
In Sin-Eater, a solo journaling game, you will navigate a harrowing journey through dark, depraved encounters. Armed with a deck of Tarot cards, you'll face encounters that reveal the sins and sufferings of those you must either absorb or allow to fester. Each choice you make will etch its mark upon your character, driving them further into darkness or giving them a glimmer of humanity.
With every sin you consume, your character will bear the physical, mental, and spiritual toll. Deformities, psychological corruption, and new supernatural abilities will shape your descent into the shadows. Will you remain a beacon of hope amid the encroaching darkness, or will the weight of others' sins consume you entirely?
Prepare to confront moral dilemmas that will test your resolve, with journal prompts designed to delve deep into the heart of your struggle. Each scene is crafted to push you to the edge of your sanity as you document the evolving horrors and your character’s transformation.
Whether you seek to understand the depths of human suffering or explore the relentless darkness of the soul, Sin-Eater invites you to explore a world where every choice reverberates through your psyche, and the sins of others shape your destiny.
Are you prepared to confront the darkness within and survive the torment of the Sin-Eater?
